TNG eWallet reaches 8.5 million GOfinance users, with nearly half using multiple products
Malaysians are changing how they manage their money, and they are doing it inside an app they already open every day. TNG Digital Sdn. Bhd. (“TNG Digital”), operator of Malaysia’s leading digital financial services and lifestyle app, TNG eWallet, today announced that GOfinance reached 8.5 million financial services users as of 31 August 2026, representing approximately 22% year-on-year and continuing its double-digit growth since 2024.
More than four million users make financial services transactions monthly through GOfinance, while close to 46% use more than one financial services product, a clear sign of TNG eWallet’s role beyond payments.
Through GOfinance, users can access wealth, insurance, financing, remittance, the TNG eWallet Visa Card and everyday financial tools in one financial hub. They can start with the product they need and access others as their needs change, without navigating separate platforms.
Desmond Teoh, Chief Financial Services Officer of TNG Digital, said, “People want to grow their savings, protect their families and send money home without making everyday life more complicated. GOfinance brings these services together in one familiar app. With nearly half of GOfinance users using multiple products, TNG eWallet is becoming an everyday digital companion that helps Malaysians manage their money beyond payments.”
GOfinance operates through an open platform model, combining TNG eWallet’s reach of more than 27 million users with the expertise of trusted financial institutions and service providers. Nearly one in three TNG eWallet users now uses GOfinance. Consumers gain access to a broader choice of services, while partners can reach millions of potential customers in one place.
“TNG eWallet brings the reach and everyday connection with users, while our partners bring specialised financial expertise,” Teoh added. “We want to work with more partners to address different customer needs and bring relevant services to more Malaysians through GOfinance.”
GOfinance also supports Malaysia’s financial inclusion and literacy priorities under the National Strategy for Financial Literacy 2026-30 by making regulated financial services easier to find, understand and use.
