Can I renew my car / motorcycle insurance here too?

Will I receive a physical road tax?

No, you will not receive physical road tax with effective from 1st Oct 2023. You are required to download MyJPJ app to view your digital road tax.

 

However, we are still opening ‘physical road tax’ option for Foreigners in view that Foreigners can’t register an account with MyJPJ.

How can I view my digital road tax via MyJPJ app?

  1. Go to your MyJPJ app
  2. Login to your account
  3. After you login, click on ‘Profile’ on the bottom right of your screen
  4. Select ‘Motor Vehicle Licence’

Can I renew multiple road tax application?

Yes, you can renew as many road tax applications as you want as long as you have the Owner’s Full Name,Vehicle Plate No.,ID / Passport No. and Vehicle Details.

How do I check my road tax price for my vehicle?

All prices displayed below are JPJ’s base rate for vehicles in Peninsular Malaysia. Kindly refer here 

 

Example:

For Saloon Car with 1,996cc (private usage)

Base rate: RM280 [for 1,801 – 2,000cc range]

Progressive rate:

1,996cc – 1,800cc = 196cc

196cc x RM0.50 = RM98

Total road tax amount = Base rate + Progressive rate = RM280 + RM98 = RM378



 

How long will the road tax delivery take?

3 – 5 Working Days (subject to availability of Courier Services).
