The Weeknd is coming to Kuala Lumpur. The After Hours Til Dawn Tour, which has grossed over US$1 billion (approximately RM4.4 billion) globally and is the highest-grossing tour by a male solo artist, lands at Bukit Jalil National Stadium for four shows on 30 and 31 October, and 4 and 5 November 2026. All four dates sold out within minutes when tickets went on sale in May 2026.

This guide covers what you need to know before the show: the dates, venue details, how to get there, the setlist, and practical tips for making the most of the concert experience.

The Weeknd’s After Hours Til Dawn Tour

The tour celebrates a trilogy of albums: After Hours (2020), Dawn FM (2022), and Hurry Up Tomorrow (2025). It started in 2022 and has been running for four years. The 2026 Asia leg is the final leg of the tour, starting on 19 September in Japan. The Kuala Lumpur shows in October and November are the last dates of the Asia leg, and the final shows of the entire tour.

Hurry Up Tomorrow, released in January 2025, debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 with 490,500 album-equivalent units in its first week. It broke Spotify’s 2025 launch record with 302 million streams in seven days. The Weeknd has suggested this may be his final release under the name, telling interviewers he wants to “kill the Weeknd” and move on.

The opening acts for the Asia leg are Japanese artists Creepy Nuts and YOUSUKE YUKIMATSU.

    Concert details

The Weeknd plays four nights at TM Stadium Nasional (Bukit Jalil National Stadium) in Kuala Lumpur:

    • Saturday, 31 October 2026
    • Wednesday, 4 November 2026
    • Thursday, 5 November 2026

The concert starts at 8:30PM MYT. Doors typically open two to three hours before showtime, so plan to arrive by 6PM to 6:30PM if you want to avoid the rush and find your seats without stress.

The show is all-seated, with no standing or general admission sections. It runs approximately two to two-and-a-half hours, though the exact runtime has not been confirmed for the KL dates.

    Ticket prices

    Tier Price
    Standard RM388 to RM1,288
    Hot Seat RM1,788
    Gold VIP RM2,088
    Ultimate VIP RM2,888

The maximum purchase limit was six tickets per order across all sale phases.

    The organiser behind the concert

The Weeknd’s Kuala Lumpur shows are organised by Live Nation Malaysia, one of the world’s largest live entertainment companies. Live Nation has brought major international acts to Malaysia in recent years, including Coldplay, Ed Sheeran, and Dua Lipa. They are also bringing BTS to Bukit Jalil National Stadium in 2026, along with My Chemical Romance, Evanescence, and Limp Bizkit.

Tickets for The Weeknd concert went on sale in May 2026 through GoLive Asia, the only authorised ticketing platform for this event. Pre-sale phases for artist fans, Maybank Visa cardholders, and Live Nation members all sold out within minutes. The general public sale also sold out quickly, prompting the addition of the second pair of dates (4 and 5 November). Those also sold out.

All four KL shows are now officially sold out. The demand reflects The Weeknd’s global appeal and the growing trend of major international artists choosing Malaysia as a tour destination.

Getting to Bukit Jalil National Stadium

An aerial view of Stadium Nasional Bukit Jalil

The stadium is accessible by public transport, which is the recommended option given the expected congestion.

    LRT

The nearest station is Bukit Jalil LRT (SP17) on the Sri Petaling Line. From the city centre, take the Ampang Line to Chan Sow Lin and transfer to the Sri Petaling Line. Travel time is around 25 minutes from the interchange, with fares around RM3.20. The station is a short walk to the stadium entrance.

Expect heavy crowds on the LRT after the show. Trains run until around midnight, but you may wait 20 to 30 minutes to board due to the volume of people leaving at once.

    E-hailing

Grab and other ride-hailing services are available, but surge pricing is typical for major concerts at Bukit Jalil. Prices can jump two to three times the normal rate in the hour after the show ends. If you are using e-hailing, consider walking 10 to 15 minutes away from the stadium to a less congested area before requesting a ride.

    Driving and parking

Multiple parking zones are available around the stadium (Car Parks A through E, plus the National Hockey Stadium lot). Event-day parking typically costs RM10 to RM30 per entry. Payment is accepted via credit card and Touch ‘n Go.

Traffic congestion around Bukit Jalil is significant on concert nights. If you drive, arrive at least two to three hours early to find parking and walk to the stadium. Take a photo of your parking zone so you can find your car afterwards.

What to expect at the concert

    Setlist

The setlist spans The Weeknd’s career, with confirmed songs from the tour including:

    • Baptized in Fear
    • Open Hearts
    • Wake Me Up
    • After Hours
    • Starboy
    • Heartless
    • Blinding Lights
    • Save Your Tears
    • Die For You
    • The Hills
    • Can’t Feel My Face

The exact KL setlist may differ slightly from earlier tour dates, but expect the major hits alongside tracks from Hurry Up Tomorrow.

    Age restrictions

The concert is open to ages six and above. Anyone under 16 must be accompanied by a ticket-bearing legal guardian aged 18 or older. This is strictly enforced at entry.

What you can and cannot bring

Photography and videography with professional equipment are banned. Mobile phones are allowed, but live streaming the concert is prohibited. Selfie sticks, 360-degree cameras on sticks, and camera stabilisers are also not permitted. Standard stadium bag policies apply, so check the venue’s guidelines before arriving. Large bags, outside food and drinks, and professional recording equipment will not be permitted inside.

Where to eat near Bukit Jalil

The stadium area has limited food options within walking distance. Most concertgoers eat before arriving or plan for supper afterwards. Nearby options include:

    • The Hook Bukit Jalil — a food court with various local and international stalls, about a five-minute drive from the stadium
    • Pavilion Bukit Jalil — a shopping mall with restaurants and cafes, connected to the area via short e-hailing rides
    • Bandar Tun Razak — residential area with mamak stalls and local eateries, a 10-minute drive away

If you are eating before the show, aim to finish by 6PM to give yourself time to get through security and find your seats.

Using TNG eWallet for the concert experience

While GoLive Asia only accepts credit and debit cards for ticket purchases, TNG eWallet is useful for everything else around the concert.

    Food and drinks

Most mamak stalls, food courts, and restaurants around Bukit Jalil and Bandar Tun Razak accept TNG eWallet via DuitNow QR. If you are grabbing supper after the show, having the app ready means you can pay quickly without fumbling for cash in a crowded restaurant.

    Parking

Touch ‘n Go is accepted at the Bukit Jalil parking zones. If you drive, make sure your Touch ‘n Go card or eWallet has sufficient balance before arriving, as top-up machines may have queues.

    Hotels

If you are travelling from out of town or want to stay near the venue, the Travel+ feature in TNG eWallet lets you search and book hotels directly in the app. You can browse options near Bukit Jalil, compare prices, and complete your booking without switching to another platform. This is useful if you want to avoid the post-concert rush and walk back to your hotel instead of waiting for e-hailing or navigating crowded LRT stations.
