In conjunction with Ramadan, customers will also get a 20% discount when purchasing a five-piece KFC Bucket Kongsi using the app. The promotion runs until June 17.
Those using the TNG eWallet for the first time are also eligible for a complimentary TNG Reload PIN worth RM10, at selected KFC restaurants.
KFC's parent company, QSR Brands (M) Holdings Bhd managing director Datuk Seri Mohamed Azahari Mohamed Kamil says its services is evolving with the proliferation of new technology that's increasingly available in our daily lives.
"The digital payment with Touch ‘n Go eWallet at our KFC restaurants further enhances service efficiency to better serve our customers.” he said in a press release.
This digital collaboration comes shortly after KFC partnered with online marketplace Lazada Malaysia, placing a KFC Flagship Store on LazMall that sells Self Collect e-vouchers.
The e-vouchers are redeemable over the KFC app or KFC website, and although it still requires customers to self-collect their orders at a physical KFC store, they can skip the queues and proceed directly to the counter to pick up their food.
However, those using the Touch ‘n Go eWallet will still have to wait in line at KFC to place their orders.
