Touch ‘n Go e-Wallet Remittance Sandbox
Terma & Syarat
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms“) govern your access to and use of the Touch ‘n Go eWallet Remittance Sandbox (“Sandbox“) operated by TNG Digital Remittance Sdn. Bhd. (“we,” “us,” or “our“). The Sandbox is a temporary initiative approved by Bank Negara Malaysia (“BNM“) that allows eligible foreign workers to access the remittance platform available in the Touch ‘n Go eWallet without requiring a local Malaysian bank account.
By accessing or using the Sandbox, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not proceed to use the Sandbox. You further understand that these Terms shall be read together with the terms and conditions for transacting remittances through the remittance service available on the Touch ‘n Go eWallet.
1. Eligibility Requirements
(a) Participation in the Sandbox is limited to foreign workers from the following 11 approved countries: Indonesia, Bangladesh, Philippines, India, Nepal, Pakistan, Thailand, Vietnam, Sri Lanka, Singapore, and Cambodia.
(b) In order to be eligible, you must have:
(i) A valid passport with at least 6 months’ validity; and
(ii) A valid work visa/ permit in Malaysia.
2. Identity Verification
(a) To use the Sandbox, you must complete the necessary identity verification process on the Touch ‘n Go eWallet, which includes:
(i) Submitting your work visa documentation; and
(ii) Performing live face verification on the Touch ‘n Go eWallet during registration and before each transaction.
(b) For clarity purposes, we reserve the right to reject or suspend your participation in the Sandbox should you fail to meet our verification criteria.
3. Service Description and Limitations
(a) The Sandbox enables eligible foreign workers to send money using the Touch ‘n Go eWallet to pre-registered beneficiaries in approved recipient countries without requiring a local Malaysian bank account. This service is subject to limitations imposed by BNM, including:
(i) Maximum remittance amount of RM3,000 per month;
(ii) Maximum of 3 transactions per month; and
(iii) Maximum of 3 pre-registered beneficiaries.
(b) For the avoidance of doubt, “pre-registered beneficiaries” refers to recipients located in your home country, whom you are required to set up in advance during the Sandbox registration process.
(c) Participation in this Sandbox is limited to a maximum of 20,000 unbanked foreign workers.
4. User Responsibilities
When using the Sandbox, you agree to:
(i) Provide accurate and truthful information during registration and transactions;
(ii) Use the Sandbox only for legitimate remittance purposes;
(iii) Not use the Sandbox for fraudulent, illegal, or unauthorized transactions; and
(iv) Not interfere with the operation of the Sandbox or attempt to gain unauthorized access.
5. Compliance with Laws
Your use of the Sandbox shall be at your own initiative and risk. You are solely responsible for compliance with all applicable laws and regulations related to remittance transactions, including but not limited to anti-money laundering and counter-financing of terrorism (AML/CFT) laws.
6. Privacy and Data Protection
By using the Sandbox, you agree to our Privacy Notice, which governs the collection, use, and disclosure of your personal information. We are committed to protecting your privacy and will only use your information in accordance with our Privacy Notice and applicable laws.
7. Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to modify, update, or revise these Terms at our sole discretion without prior notice. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting. Your continued use of the Sandbox after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. It is your responsibility to review these Terms periodically.
8. Suspension and Termination
(a) We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Sandbox at our discretion, including but not limited to cases of:
(i) Suspected fraudulent activities;
(ii) Violation of these Terms;
(iii) Non-compliance with applicable laws and regulations;
(iv) Inactivity for a period of ninety (90) days or more; or
(v) Any other reason we deem appropriate.

9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, use, or other intangible losses, resulting from:
(i) your use of or inability to use the Sandbox;
(ii) any unauthorized access to or use of our servers and/or any personal information stored therein;
(iii) any interruption or cessation of transmission to or from the Sandbox;
(iv) any bugs, viruses, or trojan horses that may be transmitted to or through the Sandbox.
10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or your use of the Sandbox shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Malaysia.
11. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that these Terms will otherwise remain in full force and effect and enforceable.
