Are the personal loans offered by CashLoan partner banks Shariah-compliant or conventional? | Both the Alliance CashFirst Personal Loan and CIMB e-Zi Tunai are conventional loans. However, we are actively working on introducing Islamic financing through TNG eWallet. If you’re a verified TNG eWallet user who meets our criteria but are still not eligible, it could be due to additional requirements from our partner banks; for example, their own approval requirements or mandatory regulatory requirements.

| 6. | Will applying for CashLoan affect my CCRIS record negatively? | Applying for CashLoan means you are applying for a personal loan from a reputable bank, with CashLoan serving as a platform to make the process seamless and hassle-free. As with any loan, it will appear in your CCRIS record. However, similarly to any other financing products, this will only impact your CCRIS negatively if you miss or default on payments.

The interest rate depends on your financial profile, like your credit record, repayment habits, and loan duration (Risk-based pricing). It starts from 4.99% to 16.68% per annum (flat rate).
The Effective Interest/Profit Rate (The actual cost) over 5 years is approximately 9.14% to 27.05% per annum.
The Bank may adjust the Interest/Profit Rate quoted with prior notice to you.

If you take a RM20,000 loan for 5 years at 12.68% per year with CashLoan (Alliance CashFirst Personal Loan), the total interest and charges would differ compared to other loan options like “A Credit” Personal Financing.

CashLoan’s underlying product, CIMB e-Zi Tunai is a flexible product that lets you borrow based on your needs, including small loan amounts or for shorter loan periods (tenures). This makes e-Zi Tunai more affordable with lower total interest payable compared to similar options.

| 8. | Where will my CashLoan amount be disbursed once approved?
|
The money will be deposited into your TNG eWallet or any first-party bank account listed during the application. Here are the options:
If you don’t have a preferred bank account listed, you can select TNG eWallet for the CIMB e-Zi Tunai loan. Once your loan amount has been disbursed, you can transfer it to your preferred bank account via DuitNow Transfer with no processing fee. Alternatively, you’ll need to open an account with the bank listed during your application to receive the disbursed funds. |

| 9. | Are there any processing fees or upfront deductions when my CashLoan is approved? | There are no processing fees for CashLoan. However, a stamp duty of 0.5% on the approved loan amount* is applicable. The net approved loan amount, after deducting the stamp duty will be credited to your eWallet or the preferred bank account you selected.
