Q1: Can I still receive payments using my TNG eWallet QR?

Yes. If you’ve already printed or displayed your TNG eWallet QR in-store, it continues to work as usual — your customers can still scan and pay with it.

Q2: What’s changed in my Merchant Dashboard?

From 9 July 2026, the TNG eWallet QR is no longer shown in your Merchant Dashboard. This doesn’t affect any QR code you’ve already printed or displayed — it will keep working as before.

Q3: What are the benefits of switching to DuitNow QR?

DuitNow QR gives you wider reach than your TNG eWallet QR:

• TNG eWallet QR: only accepts payments from TNG eWallet users
• DuitNow QR: accepts payments from any participating bank, e-wallet, and international payments (including Alipay)

Q4: How do I start using DuitNow QR?

You can find and download your DuitNow QR anytime:

• Go to TNG eWallet app → Profile (top right) → Business → Dashboard → Biz QR
• Download and print your DuitNow QR for your store

Q5: Can I display both QRs in my store?

Yes. If both QRs are displayed, customers can pay using either one. We’d recommend eventually switching fully to DuitNow QR, as it accepts more payment methods and gives your customers greater flexibility.

Q6: Will this cost me anything?

No. This is a regulatory update, and there’s no additional cost to you. Your DuitNow QR is free to use.

Q7: What’s the timeline I should keep in mind?

Here’s the timeline to keep in mind:

• 9 July 2026: TNG eWallet QR no longer visible in your dashboard, but still works to receive payments if already displayed
• By 30 June 2028: TNG eWallet QR will be fully phased out — we recommend switching to DuitNow QR before then for uninterrupted payments

Q1: Can I still use the TNG eWallet QR I received when I signed up?

Yes, for now. Your TNG eWallet QR remains functional until 28 July 2026. From that date, you’ll switch over to your DuitNow QR, which is already active and ready to use.

• Gives you more customer payment options from day one

Get set up ahead of 28 July for a smooth transition:

• Go to TNG eWallet app → Profile (top right) → Business → Dashboard → Biz QR
• Download your DuitNow QR and print it for your store
• You can also create a payment link to receive money online

Q5: Will I still be able to receive payments after 28 July?

Yes — as long as you’re using your DuitNow QR by then. It also accepts more payment methods than your TNG eWallet QR, so your customers may have even more ways to pay you.

DuitNow QR is now the standard QR issued to all merchants onboarding from 9 July 2026 onwards, giving you wider payment reach from day one.

• Accepts payments from any participating bank in Malaysia
• Works with all major e-wallets
• Accepts international payments, including Alipay
• Gives you the widest reach and most payment options available
